It has been a busy Easter.

We have been demonstrating hand spinning all over the place.

On Good Friday we were at Central Wool Growers in Worksop and at St. Stephens Church, Hatton in Lincolnshire for Easter Saturday and Sunday.

Then we were at http://www.threecounties.co.uk/countrytastic/index.html

And finally at http://wetlandsanimalpark.co.uk/?page_id=279 on the 11th April.

Not much chance for eating Easter eggs, but have made up for it since!

Trip to Lincolnshire

Today we went to Spalding Auction in Lincolnshire to get some onion sets and seed potatoes, to plant down the field.
Here is the little chef cafe on the A1, my mum also remembers it as the flyaway garage from when she was a child.

Snow on hills

This is a photo of hills between Buxton and Congleton taken the 20th January.

I like it because the pattern of the snow is impressive and the sun is shining through the clouds.

Welcome to my blog.

Let me explain why I am called Spinning Cherub.

Firstly, I am a handspinner which explains the spinning part - but why cherub? Well... I am a big fan of the Cherub series of books by Robert Muchamore.

I hope to use this blog as a record of my travels and will be posting photographs of the places I have been and things I have seen.
